Hey! I’m Hannah.

Not to go full girl boss on you, but this is a portfolio website, so I’m going to run through my resume. Sound good?

Okay, here it goes: I recently joined the Justin Alexander team as a Social Media Manager, leading the creative social strategy for Lillian West, Sincerity, Viktor&Rolf Mariage and Sweetheart. I’m so excited about this because I was a JA Bride in 2023 — I literally won my wedding gown (for free!) in an Instagram giveaway before I worked at the company. I mean, has anyone ever Lucky Girl Syndromed harder than that?

I’m obsessed with all things related to the wedding industry and also run the Instagram account for Little Black Dress Paperie as a side hustle. LBDP is a gorgeous luxury wedding invitation studio that holds a very special place in my heart; it’s where I met my now-wife when I first joined the team back in 2017. I know, I know. I should write a romantic comedy about that.

Anyway, back to the resume. If you’re a Bravoholic, you’ve definitely heard the “for more information about the housewives, head to BravoTV.com” message at the end of every episode of The Real Housewives, and as an editor for BravoTV.com, I was one of the people behind the juicy information that tagline is teasing. I strategized and created premium content for fans and lead the commerce and event-focused coverage. My favorite part of the job was getting to travel to the promotional shoots before each season of a show, interviewing the cast at their glam stations. Yes, a full-cast shoot is almost always as perfectly chaotic as you’d imagine.

Before that, I was the Branded Entertainment Editor at BDG Studios, where I worked across brands at Bustle Digital Group (Bustle, Elite Daily, The Zoe Report, NYLON, Inverse, Mic, Input, Gawker, W, Romper, Scary Mommy, Fatherly, and The Dad) to pitch and execute engaging content for advertisers. And before that was my first stint at Bravo. What can I say? I love my Housewives.

If you’re still reading, you’re a real one. But honestly? This might be my favorite part of my resume. From 2018 to 2020, I was an Assistant Entertainment Editor at Cosmopolitan. Like nearly every young woman who walks into Hearst Tower, I’d been telling people I was going to be a Cosmo editor since I was like, 12 years old. It was absolutely my dream job, and as a girl from Maine who had no connections in media, I’m always going to be so proud of myself for making it there. I worked across the print magazine and website, and most months, I was juggling multiple pages in the magazine while pulling in over a million unique page views on my byline.

I sometimes joke that my time at Cosmo was like a bootcamp; it was challenging, but so rewarding. I made lifelong friends and developed an unshakable confidence in my professional abilities. I know I’m an idea machine and a creative problem solver.

Before we wrap things up, I have a few side quests you might want to know about: I was a freelance writer for Betches, and I’ve also worked in roles focused on marketing and e-commerce. Currently, I create content on my personal platforms, and occasionally take on UGC jobs. I sometimes feel like Kirk from Gilmore Girls.

Thank you so much for taking the time to swing by my little corner of the internet. If you’d like to work together, give me a shout!
